CASTLE STARY HROZNATOV SOLD

Castle in Karlovy Vary region next to the border with Germany. Its origins go back to the 13th century, it was rebuilt several times. It consists of a chateau with medieval tower, chapel and a house for administrator in the valley. There is a 2 hectar park (20 thousand sq. meters). The castle went through thorough fundamental refurbishment. There are new ceilings that replaced the old damaged wooden beams. There is a new roof with slate roof tiles. Interior walls were repaired, sewerage pipes were installed in the whole building, there are new ventilation shafts, chimneys, water pipes. The castle is connected to public water supply and electricity. Sewerage pipes go down the slope into the valley. There is a new fence around the property, made of stone in historical style. Wooden bridge over the moat was replace by a stone one. Stones from the old buildings were used to build the bridge and the fence. The chapel has a new roof and new wooden gate. The most work intensive part of the refurbishment was done, it remains to do the interior floors, some plastering, install windows and bathrooms.
